More than 12 years ago, I bought my first loom as a simple plan for our retirement. I had no idea it would turn into a true passion.

When retirement arrived, weaving quickly became my everyday joy. There is something magical about watching fabric grow, thread by thread, with each pass of the shuttle.

Before long, my husband joined me on this journey. Today, our home hums with looms, and we spend our days weaving side by side, turning yarn into beautiful, useful pieces for everyday life.

What started as a hobby became Fil de MaGie — a small family workshop where every towel, placemat, and textile is woven with care, patience, and love.

Each piece we create carries a bit of our story: a love for craftsmanship, for simple beauty, and for things made to last.
